Basic Bra Making Kit

One of our bestselling items is the Bra Kit. Our Bra Kit includes all of the basic materials, with matching findings and fabrics, to make one bra, conveniently cut and packaged – without the guesswork. The Kit is perfect for the first-time bra-maker or for bra-making teachers.

The Kit is available in 2 sizes, small and large.

The small kit is used for smaller bra sizes, whereas the large kit is used for larger bra sizes.

The differences between the two kits include the widths of both the band and strap elastics, as well as the width of the Hook and Eye closure for the back.

The small kit includes elastics, sliders and rings, and a Hook and Eye Closure in a smaller width – appropriate for smaller sizes.

The large kit includes wider elastics, wider sliders and rings, and a wider Hook and Eye Closure – to ensure proper support for larger sizes. *Please note that there is enough strap elastic for the Pin-Up Girls pattern which uses fabric for half the strap. If you would like full strap elastics for your bra then you’ll have to purchase additional elastic*

Materials in the kit include Duoplex fabric for the cups, Power Net fabric for the bands (Doubleknit Powernet may be substituted if necessary), top and bottom band elastics, strap elastic, neckline trim, Underwire Channeling, strap adjusters, and a Hook and Eye Closure for the back. The Single Bra Kits are available in 15 beautiful colours. Make one in every colour!

• 1/4 yard Fabric for Back Wing (1/2 yard for larger sizes)
• 1.5 yard of 5/8" strap elastic
• 2 yard of 3/8" picot plush back elastic
• 1.5 yard 3/4" band plush back elastic
• 3x3 or 4x3 Hook and Eye
• 5/8" Rings and Sliders
• 1 yard underwire channeling

Depending upon size this kit is enough to make one tester bra and one fashion bra. Larger kits sizes available.
